Christmas wood ornaments give your holiday decor a calm feeling. Some like these when decorating with a Scandinavian style, others like the nostalgic nod a natural element adds to Christmas decor.

Making your own Christmas wood ornaments is very easy! Craft stores offer a variety of milled and die-cut ones you can decorate. However, if you have wood scraps you can easily create your own.

Cute little ornaments at a fraction of the cost of store-bought ones!

How to Make Gingerbread House Christmas Wood Ornaments
- Using a mitre saw (45-degree angle), cut house shapes from scrap wood. Alternatively, you can buy wood house shapes from a craft store or online.
- Lightly brush with stain, and drill a hole for hanging.
- Download the SVG file at the bottom of this post to create the windows, doors and trim. Using a cutting machine like Silhouette or Cricut cut out the shapes on white vinyl.
- Decorate your gingerbread house wood ornaments as demonstrated in the video above.

You can use your Christmas wood gingerbread house ornaments to create a village, decorate a tree, or add to a pretty present!
