We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you all had a fabulous long weekend filled with family and friends. We were lucky enough to have a Ford Mustang 50 years edition to cruise around in for the holiday weekend.
It was so much fun having this fun sports card to zip around to all our Thanksgiving festivities in, a real head turner! Although, not exactly a family car, the kids were over the moon for this sunshine ride.
I actually thought when I picked up the car ‘who in their right mind would want to drive a convertible around in the fall’, but after having it for a few days, the nice weather was really encouraging to drop the top.
It was lovely to take in the fall scenery on our little trip across the province. Nova Scotia has some of the most beautiful colors this time of year.
Mr. Fynes loved features like the precise handling and control, and the selectable driving modes (with just the flick of a switch), and the technology in the sensors, like rain sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control that senses and automatically reacts to the other cars, and auto brakes if you’re getting to close to avoid collision!
For me the aesthetics and comfort of the Mustang are what got me. The ease of putting the top up and down, the comfort of the leather upholstery (with heated and air conditioned seats!!), I was totally surprised that booster seats fit comfortably in the back, plus there was quite a bit of trunk space, I even took it shopping at Costco!
The kids favourite thing was the mustang horse image that shown onto the ground by the doors at night, super cool!
We went picnicking on Thanksgiving day to enjoy the last of the nice weather before winter pokes its head in; it was so nice to just step back and take in some nature.
I drive a Ford Flex everyday (which I love), but it was so nice to upgrade to a Mustang for a week, and gush over the fun features. To learn more visit the Ford website for more information for features, models, accessories, and pricing… then swing by and pick me up in your sweet ride!

Looks like a beautiful fall weekend…perfect for cruising! I love that the car matches the fall trees!
Wow! That looks like a fun car to get around in! You guys must have had a blast! (Also – the pictures of your family are so lovely… You’ve got a beautiful brood. )
