Why Are Snacks Important On The Program?
For me, healthy snacking is key to staying on track with Weight Watchers. If I go too long without eating, hunger takes over, and that’s when I’m most likely to grab something that doesn’t support my weight loss goals. Having nutrient-packed, low-point snacks on hand keeps me from making impulsive choices and helps me stay in control.
The right snacks curb cravings, keep my energy up, and prevent overeating at meals. And let’s be honest—if a snack isn’t satisfying or full of flavor, it’s just not worth it! Finding delicious, healthy snacking options that fit my daily points while still feeling like a treat has made this journey much easier.
That’s why I’ve rounded up some of the best low-point snacks to buy—because having quick, tasty options makes all the difference in sticking to your plan!

The Best Weight Watchers Snacks To Buy

Veggie Crispy Minis
3 Points for 16 crackers. Quaker has always had some low-point options, but now minis with grown-up ‘classy’ flavours! Beware of the sweet options, they are a bit higher in points. Get them here.

Garden Veggie Straws Zesty Ranch
32 straws for 3 points. This flavour is my favourite treat! They are mildly addicting. Best to buy the smaller packs so you don’t go overboard… but keep in mind the smaller bags are 4 points.

Smart Sweets
1 bag for 3 points. These come in a variety of tasty flavours. On average 10-12 in a bag. Lots of flavours: Sweet Fish (my fav), Peach Rings (in the pic), Worms, Sourmelon, Gummy Bears, Sour Patch Kids… PLUS, they are packed with fibre!

Rice Crackers
16 crackers for 3 points. These rice crackers come in a variety of flavours, like BBQ, sesame, original and cheese. The best part, they are under $2 a package and you’ll get a few servings out of one package.
PopCorners
3 points for 18 cakes feels almost like you’re overdoing it. A yummy alternative for a movie snack. Come in less than 3 points for a decent portion. Lots of flavour varieties.

Pop Chips
3 points for 19 chips. Tasty and packs a good crunch! Fill up your bowl with chip flavours like sour cream and onion, bbq, salt and vinegar, sea salt and crazy hot!

Quaker Crispy Minis
12 chips for 3 points. These guys have been a long-time favourite on my Weight Watchers snack list. The best part is these are available at every store I’ve checked, and often at a great price. Get them here. Ketchup, BBQ, and Crunchy Dill are my favourites.

Good Thins Sea Salt Crackers
These are my go-to lunch and snack crackers. Be cautious when you are buying the CORN ones, other flavours are significantly higher in points. Topped with a little meat, pickle, cherry tomato, and light cheese they make a great meal or snack.

Quaker Crispy Minis Rice Cakes
1 point. The original is rather boring on its own, but top them with some 0-point choices and you’ll have a very filling snack. My favourite is PB2 (1 tsp.) and half a banana. Everything, White Cheddar, Tomato & Basil and Butter are also 1 point and tasty on their own. Sweet flavours like caramel and chocolate chip are 2 points.

Pretzel Rods
3 points for 56 Rods. An old staple, but hits the spot for a salty fix, and good for dipping too. Hummus is my favourite (2 points for 2 Tbsp).

Smart Food Delight White Cheddar Popcorn
1 point per cup. Most plain bag popcorn is low in points. This white cheddar flavour rings in at just one point per cup! Have a whole cereal bowl full for just 3 points! Be cautious of the sweet and salty flavours they are typically 3 points per cup!

Tortilla Bite Size Rounds
3 Points for 17 nacho chips. Nacho chips are a great salty snack on their own but pair them with yummy tomato pear salsa and you’ll have a complete snack low in points.

Veggie Crisps
3 Points for 15 chips. You have to watch the video above to see the size of these chips, they are real size… and really big flavour. I love ketchup chips, it isn’t a flavour you typically find in other crackers, so always a fun treat All Dressed and Ketchup are my favorite.

PB2
1 point for 2 tablespoons. I questioned if I should include this as one of my favourite snacks but honestly, I eat it every day, sometimes multiple times. It’s a big bang for your buck compared to traditional peanut butter. Spread on celery, dip apples, sprinkle on yogurt, make a dip, put in a smoothie, and it’s the full meal deal for only 1 point. Also comes in chocolate-flavoured peanut butter and hazelnut. PB and Me is an alternative brand.
Low Point Refrigerator Weight Watchers Snacks

Light Laughing Cow Cheese
1 point per triangle. I love spreading this cheese on just about anything. Mix in a drop of sweetener for a great cream cheese alternative. On protein, waffles are my favourite! Flavoured triangles are a bit more savoury.

Light Babybell Cheese
1 point per round. A great grab-and-go snack, but also a tasty addition to lots of meals where other cheese is much higher in points. Try sliced up on sandwiches, lettuce wraps, even pizza!

Cheestrings
2 points for 1 string cheese. Break the rules, be a kid, you’re allowed to play with this snack! In all seriousness, I find I eat this slowly because I peel it off in layers rather than just stuffing it in. My kids love them in their lunches, double whammy!

Chicken or Turkey Sliced Lunch Meat
3 slices for 1 point. Be sure to check they points on the brand you buy. Maple Leaf Natural Selections is 4 slices for 1 point! I often reach for a slice with a pickle or cherry tomatoes to hold me over.

0% low cal yogurt
There are a lot of brands with the same point value. I love these dessert flavours when I’m craving a sweet treat! This Yoplait 100g package has Lemon Meringue Pie, Berry Crumble, Key Lime Pie, Strawberries and Cream.

Yogurt Tubes
2 Points per Tube. I really love these frozen, gets me through an ice cream craving. Available under multiple brands but most fruit-flavoured tubes are 2 points. Watch out for the special flavours, like cookies and cream which will be significantly more points.

Jello Sugar-Free Snack
0 points for 1 container. There isn’t much to a Jello-jiggler but makes for a quick sweet treat. Go for Strawberry or Lime, other flavours have higher points.

Chocolate Pudding
2 points for 1 pudding. Rich milk chocolatey or dulce de leche treat can’t be refused by many, indulge in a pudding rather than a bar when a craving hits. Be sure to get the refrigerated puddings, not the ones off the shelf.
Low Point Freezer Treats

Space Pops, Ice Pops, Cream Bars
3 Points for 1 pop. Everyone is a kid at heart with this frozen treat! I like these boxes because you get a variety of flavours.

Chapman’s Lolly Treat
3 Points for 1 pop. Lolly’s are great because they come in flavours you don’t find in they typical variety packs. Check the flavours at your local supermarket.

Dairy Queen Fudge Bar
2 Points for 1 bar. Perfect when you’re on the road. A far cry from the 30 point blizzard! They sell boxes of them if you go into the store, or single bars at the drivethu window. Trust me, this is a delicious fugey treat!

Halo Top Dairy-Free Frozen Treat
3 points for 1/2 cup. Halo has lots of great flavours. My favourite is peanut butter swirl. Make sure you read the label for dairy free, and scoop it out. I could very easily eat the whole tub.

From a fellow Canadian, thank you! I keep finding lists with a bunch of american products. This one made me happy! 🙂
Omg Thank you so much for taking the time to put this list together!!! This made my night- I’ve been struggling to find go-to snacks and this list has so many incredible choices.
I live in South Africa and we dont have WW here so I have to figure things out for myself. How many points would a banting cracker made of sesame seeds and psyllium husk be , do you think?
I’m not sure about the crackers but psyllium husk has so many health benefits for weight loss you should keep including it in your diet.
