Can you believe its been 5 years since I’ve shared the Best Low Point Weight Watchers Snacks?! (See the original post here). Since the new Weight Watchers Freestyle program arrived last year, there are now 200- 0 point foods! You’d think finding a snack wouldn’t be all that hard with so many low point options. However, there are those times you just want to grab something from the pantry, you’re on the run, or need a little treat you can stash in your desk.
This list is my Top 25 Store Bought Weight Watchers Snacks, each one under 3 points!
In no particular order, below are my go-to Weight Watchers Freestyle Snack Ideas. If you’re new to the program, you may be shocked that some of your everyday treats are packed full of points. To keep on track, you’ll likely want to ditch your high cal snacks and sub in some of these tasty munchies.
The Best Low Point Weight Watchers Snacks
Yoplait Source 0% fat Dessert Yogurts– 1 Point. Most 0% yogurts only cost 1 point. While plain yogurts are free, sometimes you want a little sweetness.
Quaker Crispy Minis Rice Cakes (Plain)– 1 point. These are rather boring on their own, but top them with some 0 point choices and you’ll have a very filling snack. My favourite is PB2 (1 tsp.) and a half a banana.
Pretzel Rods- 3 points for 45 Rods. An old staple, but hits the spot for a salty fix, and good for dipping too. Hummus is my favourite (2 points for 2 Tbsp).
Jack Link’s Pork Jerky– 1 point per piece. Sometime a salty meaty treat is just what will hit the spot.
Kellogg’s Special K Cracker Chips– 3 points for 19 Chips. Lots of crunch and 19 really fills up your bowl!
Nabisco Good Thins– Sweet Potato- 3 Points for 15 crackers.
Nabisco Good Thins– The Corn One- Sea Salt- 2 Points for 27 crackers.
Space Pops– 3 Points for 1 pop. Take you back to your childhood with this frozen treat!
Cream Pops- 3 Points for 1 cream pop. Scotsburn is a local brand, but I checked a few brands of creamsicles, most were 3 points. I like this box because you get a variety of flavours.
Chapman’s Lolly Triple Treat– 2 Points for 1 cream pop. three flavoured popsicles take me back to my childhood!
Dairy Queen- 2 Points for 1 bar. Perfect when you’re on the road. A far cry from the a 30 point blizzard!
Skinny Pop Popcorn Mini Cakes– 3 points for 22 cakes feels almost like you’re over doing it. Yummy alternative for a movie snack.
Jello Sugar Free Snack– 0 points for 1 container. There isn’t much to a Jello-jiggler, but suck one back for a quick sweet treat.
Chocolate Pudding- 2 points for 1 pudding. Rich milk chocolatey treat can’t be refused by many, indulge in a pudding rather than a bar when a craving hits.
Laughing Cow Cheese– 1 point per triangle. I love spreading this cheese on just about anything. Great for a snack, but also a tasty addition to lots of meals where other cheese is much higher in points.
Cheesestrings- 2 points for 1 string cheese. Break the rules, you’re allowed to play with this snack.
Garden Veggie Straws Zesty Ranch– 40 straws for 3 points. This flavour is my favourite treat! They are mildly addicting. Best to buy the smaller packs so you don’t go overboard.
Pop Chips– 3 points for 17 chips. Tasty and packs a good crunch!
Veggie Crispy Minis– 16 chips for 3 points. Quaker has always had some low point options, but now minis with grown up ‘classy’ flavours! Beware of the sweet options, they are a bit higher in points.
Quaker Crispy Minis– 12 chips for 3 points. These guys have been a long time favourite on my Weight Watchers snack list, however, the point value has went up a point from the last time I checked in.
Yogurt Tubes- 2 Points per Tube. I really love these frozen, gets me through an ice cream craving. Available under multiple brands but most are 2 points.
Halo Top Frozen Treat- 3 points for 1/2 cup. Halo has lots of great flavours. My favourite is peanut butter swirl.
Buddha Bowl Foods Popcorn– 3 points for 2 cups. Lots of different flavours to choose from. Again be mindful of the sweet flavours points are a bit higher.
PB2– 1 point for 2 tablespoons. I questioned if I should include this as one of my favourite snacks but honestly I eat it every day, sometimes multiple times. Its a big bang for your buck compared to traditional peanut butter. Spread on celery, dip apples, sprinkle on yogurt, make a dip, put in a smoothie, and it’s the full meal deal for only 1 point. Also comes in chocolate flavoured peanut butter.
Twistos- 3 points for 17 crackers. These come in a few delicious flavours. Lots of snack crunch, and great on salad too.
