IKEA Hacks: Keepsake Photo Ornament
A sentimental keepsake photo ornament is my favourite decoration to pull from the box each Christmas. Photos of the years gone by bringing back such wonderful memories.

These 365+ cork coasters are perfect to create a keepsake ornament. I knew exactly what my photo ornament was going to look like when I found these at IKEA! I love a good IKEA hack!

The best part about these ornaments is that anyone can make them, no special tools required!
Supplies to make a IKEA cork coaster photo ornament:
- IKEA 365+Coaster
- photo
- scissors
- hot glue
- string
- double sided tape
- decorations (optional)
- drill (optional)
How to Make a Keepsake Photo Ornament
- Find a glass that will fit snug inside the coaster.
- Drill or poke two small holes for a string for hanging in one side of the coaster.
- Use the drinking glass to trace a circle around the portion of the photo you wish to have in the ornament.
- Cut out the photo, and put double sided tape on the back.
- Stick the photo on the inside of the coaster.
- Decorate! Simply add a bow or use pieces of a wreath picks to make a decorative edge!
Get those sweet photos off your phone and onto the tree! For less than $2 each to make you can make one for every person on your list!
