If you’ve been following Fynes Designs for a while, you’ve likely seen a handful of bathroom makeover ideas. My bathroom has been through some ups and downs, with its most recent being a very bold coral colour. Check out the bathroom before and after photos here.
Tiled Bathroom Makeover

The starting point for this bathroom makeover was the beautiful Locket natural stone mosaic tiles from Jeffrey Court. It was love at first sight, I knew they had to be in my space.

It was my first time laying a mosaic tile and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. I had quite a hard time deciding on what grout colour to put with it, but in the end, settled for Delorean grey.

Before the Bathroom Makeover

Sorry if you are suddenly blinded, I can’t believe how popular that colour was a few years ago. The previous space completely lacked storage and always looked untidy… even after I had just cleaned it.
Bathroom Wall Tile

You’re right in thinking you’ve seen this Allegro White Fan tile in one of my spaces before. I love the look of this tile so much I had to use it in this bathroom makeover as well!

These Jeffery Court tiles paired together was my best bathroom makeover idea yet! The glossy white tiles make everything look so sparkly clean.

The Vanity

I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am with the vanity. It was designed and built by my friend Kyle at KB Cabinetry You can see my inspiration in this post, but I simply gave him an idea of what I was looking for and he totally brought my vision to life.
The Vanity Before

The old vanity was actually two small ones pushed together. The seam in the middle was impossible to clean between, the glass top was covered in toothpaste splatters, and there was obviously no storage. Plus the faucets shot the water directly at the back of the sink and you could hardly get your hands under it.

The Bathroom Fixtures

The Stryke™ Bath Collection from Delta is the star throughout the space. This collection is stunning, and the Matte Black finish really ties together so well with the hardware.

One of my bathroom makeover ideas is to look for a collection that has additional accessories to make your space seamlessly coordinated.

I used the Stryke widespread faucet, Tissue holder, double robe holder (used as a hand-towel hook next to the sink), and the Stryke universal tank lever.

The matte black and satin brass Fonce hardware is from Shaub by Assa Abloy. It is used throughout the bathroom, on the vanity, linen closet doors, and the towel hooks.

The Painted Accent Wall

If you follow along on Instagram you would have seen shots and clips of me painting this accent wall.

I had found this wallpaper above which caught my eye but couldn’t stomach the $400 price tag for such a tiny space. I decided to give the paintbrush a try and love the results! Click here to see how I painted the bathroom wall.

Thank you for looking around my renovated bathroom. I hope you gathered some bathroom makeover ideas to use in your own home!

They are from Home Sence if you’re in the US it is similar to TJmaxx
The vanity color is gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing.
Hey there! I’m embarking on a similar project at home. Was color did you use as your base on the accent wall, please? I love it!
This white is called Delicate White from PPG, it is very soft.
What tile did you use in the shower. I was wondering what to match the floor with. I love this floor tile, my vanity is a blue color I will probably stick with a gray like the floor but did you use big tiles or subway?
For this project I did not tile the shower. There was already a time surround and I left it as is. I think a subway tile would look fantastic if you were planning to tile your shower!
Where’s the link to the wall paper? I’m obsessed with it. I don’t have the skill or time to paint like you did. I dono where you live but I wish I could just commission you to do our bathroom wall like that (I’m in Austin Texas)!
That would be so fun! Unfortunately I’m in Canada. I don’t have a link, but you can do a reverse search on Pinterest! V
Hi! Beautiful bathroom! Can you tell me where you got the overhead light?
Hi Ashley, it is from Wayfair. I have recently seen it in the clearance V
