If you’ve been watching my Instagram and Facebook stories the past month, you’ve seen I have my entire house ripped apart. Today I wanted to share some bathroom makeover ideas and inspiration with you. Most of the house can be lived in, but when it comes to your main bathroom, you better make quick work to get it finished.
Bathroom Makeover Ideas and Inspiration

Let me remind you what it currently looks like. See the entire bathroom before from its makeover quite a few years ago.
The Bathroom Before

Yep, it sure is bright, you’ll have to put yourself through seeing the whole bathroom. I really loved coral, so much so I even painted furniture in this color too! That phase has passed, and time to move on to something fresh, and a bit beyond the budget I had as a young 20-year-old homeowner.
Not only am I looking forward to having the bathroom more aesthetically pleasing, but I also CAN NOT wait for some much-needed function.

The Bathroom Fixtures
For starters, the shower has been broken for well over a year. There is no real off position, you just guess where you want the temperature, the dial just spins in a complete circle, makes for some very cozy showers. Don’t get me started on the drip, drip, drip that is going on #someoneshootmenow. The Stryke collection from Delta Faucet Canada has me completely over the moon, I CAN NOT WAIT to get this beautiful collection in action. Below is what I’ll be using:
The Bathroom Tile

After visiting Italy this fall I completely fell in love with everything Marble. I don’t think I’ll be having a statue of David in my new bathroom, but I couldn’t resist The Locket Mosaic Tile from Jeffrey Court. If you remember the kitchen redesign I did back in the fall I used the Allegro Fan Tile as well. Obviously, I can’t get enough of it because I’m planning to do the whole wall in this beauty. I have to be honest, I was really inspired by Lolly Jane’s bathroom makeover, it’s very pretty!
Bathroom Makeover Inspiration
I am really feeling this blue-green vanity color!
I haven’t settled on a vanity style yet, anything will be an upgrade from the past- no storage glass top nightmares that we are currently using. I am really liking this 6 drawer version with an exposed shelf on the bottom.

I am really looking forward to getting started and putting this bathroom inspiration into play; and can’t wait for it all to come together!

Where would I find this blue-green vanity? Is there a name for the color?
Thank you
I had the vanity custom made, the colour is called recycled glass from Behr.
