Fall Home Tour 2018

How did fall sneak up on us so fast? It seemed as if one day was blistering hot and the kids were swimming, and the next I hauled out my slippers and wool blankets. I’m so grateful to be a part of this years Canadian Bloggers Fall Home Tour. Fixing up my home for fall has been a great way to transition into this season!

Welcome to The Fynes Designs Fall Home Tour

Grateful SVG get a Fall bundle for only 25 cents!

It has been a long time since I took the time to decorate for fall and actually took some photos. I just love all the colors of harvest. Let’s start the home tour in the kitchen. If you’ve been following the blog for a while you’ll know my house is kind of open, you can see most of the rooms from this point.

My Fall Kitchen

The kitchen shelf is one of my favourites to arrange. Out goes the globes, down goes the pumpkins and gourds. See my summer shelf here. Plus I needed a home for my new Harvest Market sign. You can get your hands on the SVG cut file in my etsy shop.

The ‘hello fall’ chalkboard is a vinyl sticker I cut out and just chalked around! You can find the fall bundle in the Fynes Designs ETSY shop for only 50¢!

My Fall Dining Room

Next to the kitchen is the dining room. The decor is a bit softer and more moody in this space. Perfect for an intimate dinner on a cool fall evening.

I just love these grey ghost squash, the perfect color. They go great with the velvet pumpkins I made.

I love how simple this fall centrepiece is. As the season changes to Christmas I can just switch out the pumpkins for bottle brush trees or fresh spruce and ribbon.

My Fall Living Room

The living room is in the centre of our home. The perfect place to get cozy with the family as the fall chill sets in.

The yellow may seem like a lot of color. But it blends really well for all seasons. It even gave my Christmas decorations a nice pop.

I put so many fall flower arrangements around my home, they all look so beautiful and overflowing.
