You might be shaking your head in disbelief when I tell you Valentine’s Day is less than a month away! Seriously, how did the last month slip through the hour glass? I’m in mad preparation for everything else going on, so I’ve even surprised myself getting right on top of love day! This Valentine’s Day craft is so easy, I’m sure you’ll want to haul out the craft box too, plus its perfectly kiddo friendly so you can haul them out also!
How to Make Valentine’s Day Craft- Yarn Wrapped Hearts
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day craft for kids, look no further! All you’ll need is-
- Heart shaped cookie cutter
- Thin foam sheet
- Yarn (in various colors)
Without cutting the yarn from the ball, stick the yarn end to the styrofoam and proceed to wrap the yarn in various directions until the heart is completely covered. If the yarn is slipping off the curves, pull a bit tighter so the strand of yarn pulls into the foam. When the heart is wrapped to desired thickness cut the end. Using the point of your scissors poke the free end into the foam. Thats it! Super easy, no glue, no mess!
Look at all the fun things you can do with these little guys! Garlands, flower picks, and wreaths! How would you use them?
Easily poke in a wooden skewer, to create a cupid arrow. Add a little paint or craft glue and glitter for a special touch!
My kids loved this Valentine’s Day craft, and I love how mess free it is!
