New Home Cleaning with Dyson Cyclone V10
Now that our kitchen renovation is complete moving to the yellow house has begun. Moving is such a daunting task, I’m sure some of you can relate. A little help from my new Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute vacuum is making my move so much easier.
I moved around a fair amount in my 20s, back then I owned a bed, dresser and a handful of clothes. Moving was done in a few hours. Plus, I was a careless kid so I’m sure I left behind a fair share of mess. 10 years later, boxes of baby clothes, furniture, craft supplies (I haven’t even addressed yet), it’s got me trembling. Not only do I have to clean up my mess I’m leaving behind at the old house, cleaning up a house mid renovation, pre bachelor pad, is a whole other level of moving cleaning.
Hard or Soft Floor Cleaning
I have to be straight with you, I’m not one of those women who get a thrill from an extremely tidy house, I just don’t have the time for that. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute has all bases covered. Not only is it slick with floors (hard and carpeted), there are a handful of other attachments that make cleaning life so much more enjoyable!

It’s hard for me to choose a favourite tool. All the tools work so well, being able to switch from a stick vacuum to a handheld, makes getting all those tight ‘hiding spots’ a synch. The combination and crevice tools were perfect for drawers, and renovation mess.
Upholstery cleaning- Yes Please!
You may have noticed all the chairs in our newly renovated kitchen and dining room are upholstered. Honestly, it was a bit of any oversight when shopping. No matter how many talks I have in my mom voice about keeping your face over your plate, or using a napkin, we are still plagued with crumbs and kid bits. The mini motorized tool is perfect for upholstery and really lifts those stubborn crumbs and ground in dirt… not that there would ever be any of that, right kids?!
I talk a hard game when it comes to being strict cleaning mom, but I have to be honest, the kids have used the new Dyson just as much as I have. Its lightweight, easy to change the heads and still a bit of an exciting toy around here, so new house clean up has been a breeze all the way around.
In my orange house I had a central vac… which I thought was the cats pyjamas. I could have never cleaned above or hard to reach spots. Not without killing my arms from lugging around the heavy cord, or getting a mystery clog somewhere in the 120958 feet of hose or line. This little guy keeps up to 60 minutes of fade free power, and a power docking station for when it isn’t in use.
Overall, the Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute vacuum is a 10 out of 10 for me!
