Welcome! The May Arts Ribbonista’s have teamed up with Faber-Castell to bring you a week long blog hop!! Each day this week there will be loads of inspiration, and a prize you won’t be able to resist!
I have a little girl so Halloween isn’t exactly a spooky occasion, really more of an excuse to wear makeup, hoards of jewellery, and a frilly dress! I thought I may as well jump on board and do something unconventional…
Check out this untraditional Halloween treat bag
I got the chance to try out these Metallic Gelatos from Faber-Castell, they are so smooth they remind me of a oil pastel crossed with water-colour, with a bit of glimmer added!
I started with damp ribbon, and coloured directly on. The eyelet trim worked awesome because the seam is raised, if you use light pressure, only the edges receive the colour, leaving the cotton white.
The Gelatos also worked great with the black chevron just by colouring directly on, and using water on the brush to disperse the colour.
Thanks for stopping by to check out my Halloween treat bag! Please hop along leave a comment along the way to win an awesome prize pack from May Arts and Faber-Castell.
