Wedding Shower Basement Makeover

Here is the deal… I hosted a bridal shower for my BF Candice last fall, so this post I’m going to say is about a year late!  I have been knee deep in everything wedding for months now and I’m so jazzed about all the fun things I’ve been putting together for my own events and some of my gal pals. However, I don’t want to spoil anybody’s events by putting my/their great ideas out there until the event has passed.  So I got to thinking, and thought I should show you this one that is almost due for an Anniversary!

With the exception of my craft room , the basement of our house is unfinished.  It is home to every piece of junk/ baby stuff/ other peoples stuff/ a cat… the list goes on.  But the wide open, bowling alley type space sure came in handy when planning for this bridal shower.  There is no windows in this area of the basement so the lighting is quite poor, also the ceiling isn’t finished so that looks kinda crummy, but I made do. The guest list wasn’t huge but I really wanted to do a bang up job since Candice and I go way back and she has always been such a great friend.  We had brunch, a few games, and of course gifts.
