Country Christmas House Tour

I know its a tad early to be talking Christmas. In blog land the holidays are creeping up fast.  Stores have been ready for weeks, and I’ve been a busy beaver getting loads of ideas together to share with you! Every year I wait too long to start sharing my ideas that I get comments from readers that they didn’t have time to make the projects, put the ideas to use, or that they would have to try to remember it for next year. So forgive me if I’m putting the Fa la la’s in your head a bit too soon, but Christmas is happening up in here!

I couldn’t wait any longer to share this Country Christmas House Tour with you. I’ve been holding onto these photos since last year, and they are starting to burn a hole in my Christmas pocket!

Each year a couple in my town transform their home into a Christmas wonderland every holiday season. This past year they had over 30 christmas trees in their home!! Yup, I said 30!! So needless to say, I have a few photos coming up.

The special part about this home tour is that they put together their entire home for public display! They open their doors on the weekends so visitors can stroll through to have a look at all 30 trees and their charming Christmas decorating ideas. The proceeds go to a local church.

As you can see from the watermark, these photos aren’t my handiwork. A friend of mine Brian Taylor, who is an amazing photographer offered to share his photos with me. He certainly has the knack for capturing all the beautiful Christmas lights. Thank you again Brian.

Everything about the Country Christmas Home Tour screams cozy cottage Christmas to me. Can’t you just picture yourself cozied up with a hot coco with the smell of cinnamon in the air?!

I can’t wait to see what the Zwicker’s have in store for this year. I wonder if they will add more trees?!
