Camp and Crop Scrapbooking Weekend- Project Recap

Big THANKS to everyone who came out to the 2013 Camp and Crop scrapbooking weekend. We all had so much fun, won some Fan-freekin-tastic prizes from our awesome sponsors, ate some delish food (if I say so myself), and met up with some great friends. Today I thought I’d take the chance to show some of the projects the participants got to create over the weekend in our free classes. Here we go-

accordian-pocket-album

This mini was my favourite project of the weekend. I used a cigarette case to create this accordion album that holds 12 photos. It was created using the Avery Elle “Picture It” stamp set.  all-about-me-layout

We did a misting class sponsored by our friends over at Clearsnap using Smootch Spritz. The gals really liked this technique class and getting a bit messy.

We also did a technique class with water-colour. I’m a bit new to mixed media, so it was a learning experience for me too.

happy-beach-layoutWe had lots of Echo Park goodies to play with, we created this layout and card- paired with some great May Arts ribbon.

There wasn’t much ‘me’ time this weekend but I was determined to do a little creating of my own, check it out below-

I can’t go without saying that these projects wouldn’t have been complete without the cutting tools from Westcott. Creating was made easy with inspiration from the pages of Scrapbook and Cards Today and Canadian Scrapbooker. The favourite of the prizes this weekend were kits from Gossamer Blue, Lawn Fawn, and from a local store My Stamping Studio. BIG thanks to all the brands that helped out this year! Hope to see you next year!
