2015 Color of the Year
A new year always brings thoughts of making spaces fresh, cleaning, organizing, painting and updating. I have big home plans for the year ahead that I can’t wait to share with you. When updating our home, I’m always curious about emerging trends and ways to keep our style on par.
I wanted to take a minute to introduce to you to the 2015 Color of the Year– Blue Paisley from the PPG Voice of Color Collection.
Blue Paisley is a eclectic cool hue of blue that is sure to add, interest and flare to any space while staying on trend. With a bohemian flare this exciting color can be paired with countless color combinations. Rich yellows, soft neutrals, warm reds and corals, or used as an accent to draw attention to an interesting focal point.
This color has been popping up all over the place. Popular home decor retailers (like Pottery Barn, Anthropologie, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and many more) are embracing this color by featuring trending décor pieces to coordinate with the blue hue and bohemian style. I must say I’m in love with the look!

How will I incorporate Blue Paisley into our home?
I have a laundry room makeover slated to begin right away, Blue Paisley is my color of choice. I haven’t quite decided if I’ll do the entire room, or just an accent wall, but I’m excited about this bold color. I’ll be using the Voice of Color Digital Room Painter to test out the color before hand, I’ll be sure to share my ideas with you!
