You’ve heard me shouting from the rooftops about SNAP conference. In 3 days I’ll be boarding a plane set for Utah! By ‘set for’ I mean after two stop overs, 13 hours and 26 minutes of travel to be exact, that’s a lot of plane and airport time (not to mention the 15 hour return flight). This lady is going to need to be comfortable, first thing that comes to mind is an oversized sweater, cozy slippers… think a complete sweats uniform.
Since I have a little pride and I don’t want to look like a complete slouch, I thought I better up my comfort level by getting a new pair of yoga pants on my team. I chose the straight leg active pant from Bench. These pants are possibly the best yoga pants I’ve ever owned. They are tight in all the right places (ie. tummy area), plus I have a wide calf and they are roomy enough there too!
This is how I’ll be travelling in comfort–>
This Bench sweater is perfect for travelling too, its not too heavy, perfect for layering, but still going to keep me warm if the airplane is too cool. The whole outfit is quite comfortable, but if later decide to wear it for exercising it will be perfect for that too!
I bet you’re wondering what this gal is going to do for 28 hours downtime, right?
This is what I’ll be taking in my carry-on bag–>
Not your typical contents! I plan on doing a little scrapbooking on the plane. Once I found out I could take a 4″ pair of scissors on the plane, I was sold! I think the tiny plane tray will be fine for this new instagram size albums from We R Memory Keepers. All I’ll need is my Xyron Tape Runner, a pen, and a few embellishments… and my new scrap magazines if I need a little inspiration!
ipad air | iphone 5 | Scrapbook and Cards Today and Card Maps | Conigo Water bottle | WRMK Instagram album and Inked Rose Cards | Xyron tape runner | Project Life Pens | socks | Aveeno lotion | Anker Asktro Battery Backup | Earphones | toothbrush | Passport pouch | Blistex | sunglasses | gum
How do you stay comfortable when travelling? I’d love to hear your tips.
