Welcome to my Christmas Home Tour, I’m so excited to show you around!
I don’t have much to say other than I’ve poured my heart into my decorating this year! Mr. Fynes thinks that I’ve gone Christmas bonkers (and I’ll probably think that at take down time) but I love everything about the season, and I just had to a teensy tiny overboard!
Come on in…
I had to share my real tree first, it really means the most to me I love the smell, clipping the boughs to give it that perfect tree shape, and although I could do without the needles, Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas without at least one real deal tree!
I have a tiny obsession with boxwood this year, a simple sprig really dresses up brown paper packages.
The living room is so intimate this year, lots of cozy pillows, wool blankets, and the occasional hot chocolate.
I wish someday I could have a mantle to display our Christmas stockings but for now the window is doing the trick. The DIY stocking holders work perfect for the space.
The old barn door really fills up the otherwise empty corner, the fun snowman wreath is one of the kids favourite decorations.
This baby tree was a last minute decision that I’m so glad I made, look at all the ornaments that wouldn’t have seen the light of Christmas! The Reindeer Games Sign from last Christmas made a comeback.
I just made this new pillow cover, I think its kinda a fun touch to an otherwise traditionally decorated room.
The living room is so cozy I love sitting in the glow of the Christmas lights from all angles.
Lets go out in the dining room for a look…
The DIY Vintage sled I made this year found a welcoming home under the dinning room Christmas tree.
A perfect perch for Santa to leave treats for the kiddos in their Personalized Santa Sacks.
The china cabinet is home to a few special Christmas items, like the kids Snow Babies collection.
I went a little crazy buying up these village houses this year… only 99¢!
Isn’t this little centrepiece so cute, I can’t get enough of bottle brush trees and glittered deer! The Birch Bark centrepiece I created is going to find a home at my moms house.
Remember those ruffled ribbon Christmas trees from last year, if not you have to see how I made them!
This little vignette has lots of my favourite vintage Christmas trinkets. And where I keep all my Christmas cards on the mousetrap card holder .
I love me some vintage bulbs and Santas!
The addition of the Craftberry Bush printable is exactly what this vignette needed!
This vintage Santa is my favourite image of Christmas.
I love when I’m standing in the kitchen and can see all 4 trees glowing in the dark.
Turn around and you’re in the kitchen. The kitchen took a different turn than the rest of the house this year. I played with the blue accent wall and really went with it. Who says your holiday decorations have to completely flow anyhow?
Plus the bright bulbs look wonderful on the white Christmas tree. You can see all the Christmas hutch details here.
Each cupboard I added a simple vine wreath with some sprigs of boxwood. I also went a bit crazy with them as they were 30¢ a piece!
The baking pan gallery wall got a dose of bright color too. Did I mention how much I love bottle brush trees? Check out how to make your own here.
Back around the corner sits my Birdhouse Christmas Village
That wraps up my Holiday Home decorations, I hope you enjoyed the tour!
